Principle of the bridge probabilities calculator

The online bridge probabilities calculator works by taking some known facts about the hands of the players and producing statististics of the distributions of each card in each hand, and of suit lengths and number of honor points in each hand, helping to educate guesses about other players' hands at any time during a game.

Known facts are converted internally to conditions a distribution must meet in order not to contradict the facts. A number of distributions (ranging from 10,000 to 200,000) is randomly generated. Distributions which do not meet the conditions are eliminated. Various statistics are accumulated from the rest, then displayed as results. Also, ten example distributions are displayed.

The fraction of the generated distributions from the whole set given an ideea of how unusual the combination of conditions is.
